GBS covers qualified furniture from the following for 5 years:
WHAT IS COVERED

• ACCIDENTAL Stains – Includes human and pet bodily fluids, and dye transfer.

• ACCIDENTAL Water or Beverage Marks or Rings.

• ACCIDENTAL Rips, Tears, Punctures, Burns & Singe marks.

• ACCIDENTAL Scratches and gouges that PENETRATE the finish of wood, metal & hard surfaces.

• ACCIDENTAL Chipping or Breakage of Glass or Mirrors.

• Loss of Silvering on Mirrors

• Checking, Cracking, Bubbling and Peeling of the Finish on Case Goods or Lifting of Veneers.

• Failure of Motors & Associated Components, such as mechanisms, wires and switches (upon expiration of
the Manufacturer’s Warranty), including Parts and Labor.

• Fading from the Sun on Case Goods (Wood Furniture).


WHAT IS NOT COVERED

• General soiling or ACCUMULATED stains that were never claimed or that cannot be attributed to a single
occurrence.

• Stains or damage from mildew, mold, acid, bleach, rust or corrosion.

• Damage from TEETH, BEAKS and CLAWS from an animal or bird.

• “As Is”, “pre-owned” showroom-displayed, rental or commercial use.
• Stains or Damage caused by Transit, Delivery, Assembly or Movement between residences (customer moving
between residences).

• Odors.

• Loss of foam resiliency, pilling or fraying of upholstery.

• Fading, color loss and/or discoloration of Upholstered Furniture.

• Damage caused by improper cleaning methods.

• Cracking or Peeling of Leather, Vinyl, Bonded or Bi-Cast.

• Damage due to acts of God, theft, negligence, riot or any other peril. _______________________________________________________

• GBS has been in business since 1988.

• GBS’s Peace of Mind Program is underwritten and insured by a U.S. based “A” rated insurance
carrier.
• We overstaff our Call Center to provide industry leading 10 second average speed of answer
and less than 1% abandon rate.

• We continuously monitor and train our Customer Service Reps to ensure Your customer
receives an outstanding customer service experience.

• Customer has 30 days after Discovery to report the Accident.

• Customer is eligible for Multiple Services during the 5 year term of the Peace of Mind Program - and one-time Replacement.

• This is not a cleaning contract. Call GBS to get a recommended upholstery cleaner in your area.

• Customers need to call with every incident.
