Revolution Performance Fabrics

Revolution Fabrics are true performance fabrics woven with 100% Olefin yarn, a Nobel prize winning fiber. These fabrics are inherently stain resistant, anti-microbial, exceptionally durable and light fast, yet soft to the touch. They wick away moisture, are 100% recyclable, and have NO chemical treatments.

Stain Resistant and Cleanability

Revolution Fabrics are woven using solution dyed Olefin yarn. In the solution dye process, pigment is added to the fiber while the Olefin is a liquid state. This is the only way to dye Olefin, because the fiber is inert and will not dye or stain in its natural state. This process makes Revolution Fabrics very easy to clean using soap and water, common household cleaners and even diluted bleach. Stains should be spot cleaned, rinsed lightly with water, and air dried. Most other performance fabrics rely on chemical treatments that will wear off after time and those same chemicals used are being questioned in both the United States and Europe for safety.

Revolution uses NO CHEMICAL AFTER-TREATMENTS of any kind!

Smallest Carbon Footprint

Olefin production uses the least amount of energy to produce of any fiber, has the smallest carbon footprint, and no harmful industrial waste is produced in the process. Also, there is no waste water pollution in the dye process.

Testing and Fade Resistance

Revolution fabrics meet or exceed ALL applicable upholstery standards for abrasion, seam slippage, tensile strength, light fastness. Color fastness and passes all the latest state and federal Fire Resistance standards. Revolution fabrics are also fade resistant and are rated for 300 hours of light fastness, far exceeding the 40 hour standard for indoor or commercial use.

Made in the United States of America

Revolution Fabrics are 100% made in the USA!

Cleaning and Care Instructions

  • Blot the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb as much of the spill as possible.
  • If the stain is in an area where the back of the fabric cna be reached (like a zippered cushion), a towel should be placed on teh back of the stained area to absorb excess moisture from cleaning.
  • Use a simple solution of 2 oz of dish soap plus 2 oz of bleach mized with 1 gallon of water.
  • Wet a clean cloth in the cleaning solution, and gently rub the stained area, rinsing the cloth in the cleaning solution and repeating until the stain is gone. Rinse with clean water to remove any soapy residue.
  • Do not rub, and NEVER USE A BRUSH...neither is necessary for thorough cleaning, and can damage the fabric.
  • For more subborn stains, use 1 cup of bleach and 2 oz of dish soap mixed in 1 gallong of water.
  • After cleaning with this stronger bleach solution, the area should be blotted with water, so that the bleach does not discolor clothing.
  • Never use straight bleach.
  • Loose stains like dirt, should be vacuumed off and then cleaned as described above, if needed
  • DO NOT USE VACUUM ATTACHMENTS WITH ANY BRUSHES
  • Air dry after cleaning.
  • Do not tumble dry and never expose the fabric to temperatures over 250 degrees fahrenheit
